Beach Fun Together

God provided a great new surfboard at a great price for us yesterday! David couldn't wait to go try it out, so we headed down to the beach for a fun date! I took lots of pictures and wanted to share them! God is so great!

Forever Ago

Man, I was just looking at all my earlier posts about planning, and it seems like AGES ago. I can't believe I was ever planning a wedding... I definitely remember our wedding day, but it was just wonderful, and it doesn't seem like I had to plan (with tons of help of course) all that... I've kind of forgotten what it was like before the wedding. I think I'm just caught up in the joy of being married, that it makes any memories of planning fade away...

Playing Parents

This weekend we had a ton of fun babysitting the Carson kids. We watched them Friday through Monday. It was a kind of surreal look into the future (Lord willing!), and it was SO fun to play parents together. However it helps that these kids are amazingly respectful and a ball of fun at 6 and 4.

We learned how to work together, and I think David got a real taste of what it's like to be responsible for kids! Not that he didn't know before or isn't responsible, but it's different to really realize the blessing and serious charge of parenting.

A Day to Remember

We loved every second of our wedding day! We are so grateful to everyone who is a part of this time in our lives. It is an amazing blessing to be married, and by the side of the one you love all the time

A Day to Remember Part 2

The Honeymoon!

Most AMAZING honeymoon EVER! We flew to Denver, Colorado. Drove to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and stayed for 6 days. Then drove down to Estes Park, Colorado for 2 days, and on the way back to Denver we drove through Greeley, Colorado (David's birth town).

The Wedding!

Our wedding day was WONDERFUL! Everything was better than I imagined : ) I added a few pictures I received from some various people! Crissie should be done with the professionals soon : D

Our First Home : )

We have moved all our stuff into what will be our home once we get married (which is UNBELIEVABLY close..22 days...3 weeks.... CrAzY)!! We absolutely love it, and couldn't have prayed for anything more perfect for us. Here's some pictures to pique your interest so you come over and see it for yourself! We are still making a few changes here and there, but we are excited!

Let the RSVPing begin!

The invitations are out! YAY! I cannot say how happy I am that they are finally out!! They were quite the undertaking, and they turned out BEAUTIFULLY! I love them! I cannot believe how close the wedding is (47 days)... I remember thinking when other people were getting married that 47 days is close, and how excited they must be-- well I think I was right! It IS close, and I AM EXCITED!!!

Next on the list is time lines and finalizing decorations for the Worship Center and Fellowship Hall... : )

And I have my shower this weekend at the McCormicks!! I can't wait to get to see everyone!

with less than two months, I really have to start focusing on details... I can't believe that we only two months away!!! My last weeks of school were pretty stressful, and I am now ready to focus on wedding things. The invitations are finished, and now the envelopes need to be addressed, and hopefully sent out as SOON as humanly possible! I wanted them to get by now, but not much I can do now! I had to focus on school before I could get to them.

I'm really excited about my shower on the 10th! Mrs McCormick and Rebecca are excellent planners, and I can't wait to get together with everyone who I haven't been able to see in the last couple years I've been at school!

I have moved everything home, and we are SO excited to move into our apartment on May 23rd! David will stay there until the wedding, and we'll be able to mess with decorations and furniture arrangements : ) YAY!

Tallahassee Shower

Hannah, Tara, and Claire all threw a shower in Tallahassee in honor of me! : ) It was SO wonderful! Quite a few people came out and joined us, including my mom and Hannah's mom. It rained and stormed all day, but it was cozy to have great friends around for a couple hours! I had a great time, and am so thankful for the generosity of others...

About 80 days...

The countdown is getting low! I can't believe it's in the 80s!! ahh!!

This weekend Hannah and Tara are throwing me a shower, and I am excited! It's my first shower! So it is a monumental moment for me : )

I just got the invitations all figured out, and a wonderful woman in my fellowship is going to make them for me! I am SO excited about how they turned out, and I am glad they are exactly what I wanted! Can't wait till you can all see them!

Everything is coming together! Praise the Lord, for He is good!

Under 100 days...

Over Spring Break we got SO much done! We finished registering, found a great apartment (1/1), bought wedding bands, reserved tuxes (which may be changed), found favors, and ordered the cake! One of the registries we started is a little bit different-- it's a honeymoon registry! It's kind of cool , though. People can buy us things to do on our honeymoon-- it's hard to explain, but you'll have to check it out! I think it turned out cute.

We're under 100 days now! Everything is happening so fast, and I can't wait till June! I think now time is going to fly. Last month it seemed forever away, but now it seems really soon... I think with the end of the semester coming up and then wedding activities begin!

My wonderful roommates/bridesmaids are throwing me a shower up here in Tallahassee in a couple weeks! It will be my first official bridal duty! : )

This was kind of random, but I'm taking a break from homework, so my mind is scattered!

Four months left in the countdown

Four months is not long, but it doesn't feel short! At this point in the planning, most of the big stuff is hammered out and now I have a couple things left to tie up. I am ordering the invitations soon and hopefully they will be in ASAP. I think I'm at a hill right now, and as soon as I get over it the rest of the time will fly by!

I have a really cool thing lined up with Coldstone, but it's not set in stone yet. I hope to get it all figured out over spring break. It will be great! : )

I also just found out that my wonderful friends and bridesmaids are planning a shower for me here in Tallahassee, and I am looking forward to that as well!

David and I finished planning out our honeymoon! Everything except the whitewater rafting is booked! We probably won't do that till we get out there. I am very happy with everything that we have planned, except our airlines keeps changing our departing flight. I wish they'd just pick a time. So far it has changed 3 times! It's just ridiculous...
